Our Wor. Bro. Robert Williamson, on the recent loss of his father, will be holding a memorial service on Saturday November 12th, 11 a.m., at the Immanuel Christian Church 2626 Mayfield Road.

At this sorrowful time our W.M Scott Allan has asked that all brethren who plan on attending to have their regalia with them as we pay our respects.

The Lord is my Sheppard.

Hi David, we have all our Masters accounted for going right back to 1888 and a few before that, so I'm thinking you might have the wrong lodge.

Hello! In a collection of items in my possession, I can across a presentation medalion "Presented to Past Master GG Mahaffy" (I am thinking it is 1910 or thereabouts). This name is not listed as a past master in your history so if you send me an address I can show you some photos of this presentation piece in its original leather case (Sterling silver plus ribbon by Ambose Kent and Sons).

Hi Brenda,

Sorry, thats all the info I have, and as far as Ireland you are best checking the 1901 & 1911 census for Ireland which is free to use.

My father's great uncle (a few times over) was Col. Samuel Charters, of Charters Publishing, and former mayor of Brampton. I found him in the book, "From Boyne to Brampton," as an Early Orangemen. I have been trying to research where exactly our family was from in Ireland. Do you have any information on Sam remaining in your archives that I may find interesting?

Sir,
My great-grandfather was Rev. Thomas Boyd and the records say that he was proud Orangeman all his life (he was born in Ireland but arrived in London, Ont. around 1862 and died in 1928.) As you can see from his 'service record' he was moving around alot so not sure what Lodge he could have been in - but hope that you could help.

Just looking here to see where tour parde will be today but can't see any information. It is too much walking for some to try and get into Toronto so was hoping there was a parade outside of the big city. Wishing all of the very best and have a succesful march. Ride on King Billy!

What a great night we had at the Ulster Covenant Signing, a big Thank you to all those who attended, you made the night the success it was. and to everyone who brought food and donated prizes Thank you very much. personally speaking it was awesome to see everyone helping out on the night and chipping in where possible, seeing so many turnout on the night is a great indicator that the Protestant Ulster Loyalist Orange Culture is well and alive within Brampton and surrounding area's.

Hi: My husband and I just bought Rowe Hall in the Village of Cheltenham, Caledon, Ontario. It was originally the Orangeman's Hall. We are trying to find a picture or pictures of it in its original state. Ideas are welcome as to how or where we might find pictures. Thanks.

Hi Michele,

Your best bet is to contact the Grand Orange Lodge of Ontario West at http://www.ontorangewest.ca/ or you could contact Tom Gunnis at 519 925 1590 as he would or might know some of the history surrounding that area.

Hope this help's you out.
